About Peace For Sudan
Learn about Peace For Sudan, our mission to support refugees in rebuilding safe, independent lives with dignity in the UK. We are based in Doncaster, United Kingdom, and committed to providing comprehensive assistance and fostering community integration. This includes helping them settle into their new communities, access essential services, and feel socially and emotionally included.

Our Mission
Our primary goal at Peace For Sudan is to empower refugees to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence. We focus on supporting their transition into new communities, ensuring they have access to essential services, and promoting social and emotional well-being. Our ration assistance program offers support services to refugees who have recently arrived in the UK, including help with navigating the asylum system, finding accommodation, and accessing public services. This support will ease their transition and help them integrate into their new communities.

Guiding Principles
Our work is guided by three core beliefs:
- Every refugee deserves dignity and respect, regardless of their background.
- Refugees should have fair opportunities to rebuild their lives through support in housing, education, work, and community life.
- Peace, cooperation, and mutual understanding between communities are essential for a better future for everyone.

What Makes Us Unique
Peace For Sudan stands out because we are led by individuals from the Sudanese community who possess a deep understanding of refugees' language, culture, and unique challenges. This lived experience, combined with our structured and professional support, ensures that refugees feel both expertly assisted and personally understood. We bridge the gap between organised aid and empathetic connection, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.
"Peace For Sudan provided invaluable support asylum . Their understanding and compassion made all the difference."
